I believe what you said, insurance is linear, but I believe all of the blackjack decisions are linear too. Some side bets are nonlinear, for example, lucky ladies.

However, you still haven’t explained if the +2.4 insurance index is fixed throughout a 2-deck shoe or not. I have asked about this several times on this forum: is there a floating advantage from insurance, but nobody hasn’t firmly responded.

Let me just inform you of my recent discoveries on the floating advantage. All of the HiLo indices varies slightly Slightly with the dealing depth in a shoe. Some increase while others decrease. The trend I said above about insurance is correct.
