    Strategy Comparisons

    Hi all,

After my recent attempts in generating indices, I've started comparing strategies to quantify to see how well they perform. However, I am a bit puzzled with results I'm getting and was hoping someone could help me understand it or point out what I might be doing wrong here.

4 strategies used and simmed with about the same amount of indices used.
    1) Zen - True count method
    2) REKO-F
    3) UBZ2 - Modified 1: Indices were generated by myself via CVData. Numbers rounded (6D only, DD left as is) mildy
    4) UBZ2 - Modified 2: Indices were generated by others. Numbers rounded moderately

I can't seem to comprehend Zen's under-performance to UBZ2 Modified 1 and REKO-F by big margins. Especially, when about the same amount of indices were used. Also, I am wondering if UBZ2 modified 1 performed well since its indices were round mildy and that its values are very close to the original generated numbers. Would this be correct?

What do you mean by "Zen - True count method"? Did you use the newer indices with the old TC divisor? If so, that won't work.

I'm assuming you've never seen the SCORE comparisons of BJA3.

    Hi Norm,

    Count per deck method.
I'm using indices available from the following forum, http://www.blackjackforumonline.com/...omprehensivebs
I believe it is also saved under Complete Zen Strategy in CVCX

Last time I looked the brand new copies weren't available. Noticed on Amazon, it says sold by "Huntington Press, just launched". Are they releasing more copies?
Ordering it on Amazon. Shipping might take awhile but glad I'll finally be acquiring a copy. Thanks Don.

HP has had the book for a very long time. Why would you order it on Amazon when HP is so much cheaper??

Huntington Press is the same company as Las Vegas Advisor. A good source of all things Vegas. They even will hold the book for you to pick up in Vegas if you are going there. Don is correct; why buy on Amazon?

Purchase would help a local Vegas, good company.
