Same ownership by the same company have the tendencies to set the same rules and regulations. Their standard practice potentially could be the same. For example, if the ownership of Harrah set a rule to take advantage of their customers. There is a possibility that all their properties are going to do that.
See that is the difference between doing business with foreigners and Americans. If I were them I will find ways to absorb or compensate those fees. They going to pass on the resort fees to the customers? Four Queens Hotel & Casino charge no resort fee and their room rates are $49. Why can't other Las Vegas hotel follow Four Queens? Binions Hotel & Casino charge no resort fee and their room rates are $35 to $45.

Maybe so. At least in my neck of the woods, if not everywhere, you can rely on Hamptons Inns as being very decent, clean and not overly expensive. In fact, my last out of town trip with the wife (I played 1 session), we stayed at Hamptons. They’re a number of hotel chains which offer a similar price point and quality of accommodation.
A Waldorf type of experience is reserved for special occasions. The finest mix of accommodation, food, amenities and service we’ve experienced was the Hyatt Regency in Mexico City. We enjoyed 6 nights made better by our choice of accommodation.
What about Four Queens? They charge $35 per night.
Waldorf Astoria Beijing and Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem is part of Hilton Hotel & Resort. Hilton Hotel is founded by Conrad Hilton. Almost everything that is owned by Americans are expensive, it does not matter where you go. Fairmount Beijing cost cheaper and look luxurious which is part of Accor. Accor is a French Hospitality company.

Casino rooms downtown are awful because music outside is very loud, people drunk going down the hallways at all times of the night talking loudly, fighting and arguments all around. Maids don’t start cleaning rooms till afternoon. I would rather get one of the motels away from casinos.
Forgetting LV for just a moment, I just finished planning a driving trip. I use Trivago for fast access to lots of information.
I have often commented in what I look for and don’t look for in terms of accommodation. I routinely discard any place that displays a prominent sign proclaiming “Cold Beer”. I actually found an absolutely first class accommodation - taxes and all fees included - $106.00.
If any if you have watched Queens Gambit, the hallways and rooms where Im staying remind me of the Moscow hotel in that mini series. No signs proclaiming cold beer.
