    Heat?

Do casinos dislike it when you watch for a bit and don't play? I played for a bit, then let a friend play for a bit while I watched and I was getting the feeling that they didn't like it. After just a few minutes, I was asked to remove my coat because they weren't allowed, but the majority of everybody else had coats on too, but they didn't seem to care, so it seemed a bit strange. At the time I was also sitting behind the other players, so I couldn't reach anything on the table. They also asked me a few times whether I wanted to play, which was a bit annoying.

I did wonder whether they thought I was a card counter, but they use a CSM and immediately put the cards back in the machine after every game. Do casinos still lack the intelligence to know that we can't card count? I did have a pretty good winning steak, but that was just lucky, and the casino should know that. Also, can't see any way I could have cheated without them seeing it as it's all on camera.

I don't think he mentioned anything about playing with an advantage. He just said he was playing for a while then stopped to watch his friend play. In fact, he mentions it was a cms table which he knows can't be counted, and that he just had a lucky winning streak. The casino should know this too so I haven't any idea why they were doing what he says. The no coat rule is a new one on me, but dealers often ask if I'd like to jump in when I'm backcounting a table. Nothing unusual there.

You probably looked nervous while there seeming to be something in your coat (or seeming to hide something).

As long as your are winning ,the casino will not be happy about it. All patrons must lose , it is just a matter of time. if they r not losing they r neither cheating or an AP ..... Casino - my definition ( an establishment with a license to print money)

It seems silly that they don't like people winning. If nobody won, then they would go out of business because nobody would go back. We all know that we will always lose long term too (at least with a CSM).

You're probably right, it may have looked like I was concealing something, but I don't know what I could have been concealing that would have given me an advantage.

Sounds like they thought you were a security risk. Who is "they" that asked you to remove your coat? If it was a security guard, that would confirm my suspicions. If it was a suit, who knows.

"they" was a security guard. I guess he didn't have anything better to do. The casino was pretty empty, and it'll have one person less if I keep getting harassed.
