    Covid Vaccine Proof

I was wondering if you will get some kind of proof of your vaccine shot. Maybe, some kind of card saying you had the vaccine. Such proof might allow you into casinos without masks. Maybe let you fly on airplanes without a mask. I see many advantages if you can prove you had the covid shot.

By the way, I heard there was talk they would pay you $1,500 to get the shot. This would make more folks get it for sure, but so far is just an idea.

They could pay me $15m and I would still refuse their injection. That's how much I trust big pharma.

A BJ forum is the perfect place to ask that question. Why don't you ask on The Urinal (VCT). your friends there know everything.

Certificates are issued for Yellow Fever vaccination, so I expect something similar will be done. I am aware of some travel companies already writing into their contracts, for when they resume tours, that proof of vaccination will be required

Perhaps they'll have vaccinated pits, like smoke-free pits.

The interesting question immediately follows: where will such a card become required? If you don't work remotely, will your employer be permitted to require you to have a card before coming back to work? Will all school children be required, as they are for measles, mumps, chicken pox, etc., to show proof of vaccination before returning to school? Attending a sporting event? Your ticket and your card, please! The ACLU lawsuits will quickly follow.

I think we're headed for interesting times.

Not any time soon. Kids have been excluded from the vaccine trials so far, so no info on efficacy or risk for them.

Fine with me if vaccines are required for grocery workers, restaurant staff, other folk with close contact. If they required them for entry to a bar, maybe they could open the bars again.

Not to be political, but I saw on the news today that some idiots are whining about the closing of a bar on Staten Island. The widespread stupidity is overwhelming. I hope most New Yorkers are smarter than these pea brains complaining about a bar, of all things. They must be, because your city and state took the pandemic seriously for quite awhile, and was able to repel it quite a bit. But now, ???

Of all the crap we can do without during this time, a bar ranks among the least "essential" of all businesses, right alongside tattoo parlors and marijuana "dispensaries."

It would be interesting to hear from a long-time New York resident like Norm about the city's present mood. I apologize if too political -- I always think of the pandemic as a serious public health issue, sometimes forgetting that it has been so ridiculously politicized.
