He can get it new here for $22.49. https://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/shop...-the-pros-way/ Are you so hard up for the cash that you'll sell it to him for less than that, including the shipping???

Ah, forgot about those. But they come in two varieties: 1) ones that I may have signed personally in someone's presence and 2) the 500 numbered ones that I signed for RGE when the hardcover was first published. These were sold at a slight premium (forget how much) to the original cover price of $39.99 and so are, I suppose, somewhat rarer.

I agree. The hardback, signed edition is a collector's item. I bought it and the soft cover version. I read the soft cover version, refer back to it, and underline short passages in it.
My parents taught me to treat books with respect, almost reverence, and I feel a little guilty underlining or highlighting in books, but it helps me learn.
Darn. I paid $28 on Amazon in the middle of last night when I couldn't sleep for thinking about the game. A couple of years ago I gave a friend my old first addition with the yucky yellow cover 'cause I never could find study time while I was working more than full time at a "real" job. Now after reading comments about how much it has changed in three editions, I'm on the fence about getting it back and either encasing it a protective cover and storing it inside a safe or using it as fuel for an epic hotdog/marshmellow roast...
I still love my yucky yellow cover edition even though there are now over a hundred loose pages in it, but they are in order. Sometimes I still quote from that book. What I like the most about my book is all the highlighting also in yellow that I did throughout the book.
With the large number of cases in the US, the risk of becoming infected is dramatically increased. So It's even more important to wear a mask when you are near someone who is not in your household (& when someone in your household has or is suspected of having a Coronavirus infection.)
I always have a mask with me when I am out of the house.
My wife was told yesterday that she was in the same room with someone who tested + for COVID 4 days prior to her being told. My wife was wearing a mask the entire time. We don't know why the + person was tested (contact to case or symptoms) but hope to find out Monday & get a test the same day.
Well, so far so good. No symptoms. On Monday morning I will go get tested.
This quarantine shit is hard. After all, I live in a small condo with son and spouse. I am wearing a mask, they are inconsistent indoors with it. I take it off to eat and drink at least 10+ feet away from them. We all tend to hang in the large living room. I don’t know. If I have Covid, the shit probably gets in the air or gets on whatever I touch, which means they might have it too and since they go out....
