When any suggestions that they delay that decision, consider a longer period of apprenticeship or cautioned against turning full time professional were expressed, the forum member was quietly “disappeared” (banned).

If Colin was to provide every post I made before I was banned (there are a few others here that were also banned), you would find me expressing my opinion that turning full time based upon a few months or a years success was a huge mistake. You simply cannot average $30 an hour playing part time BJ, quit their $15 an hour full time job by extrapolating your success or assume that if you can make $30 an hour playing at a $10 min. game, that it’s time to get a loan and play $25 tables at $75 an hour.

Words of caution were not tolerated.

This forum has officially gone off the rails, again.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
