It’s 600*52. $31200. I don’t imagine you’d have to pay tax on that. That’s a lot of money for a lot of people. More than minium wage.
I am not advocating to stay on unemployment, one way or another. If I was at-risk population, and I still can get 600/week. I’d think twice when and if I am going back to work.
Getting on this thread is tempting but risks getting banned by Norm for “politics”. One just has to see where the money is going. One example..(I have many such examples
You and I pay taxes, received $1200, Evangelican churches that don’t pay any taxes got $7.3 Billion

Tax Planning, creating Tax avoidance, not Tax evasion, can be a powerful tool for the small businessman. If any Non employee Canucks out there, especially incorporated Canucks want some ideas, let me know. I capture probably 90-95% of what’s available with virtually no effort. For those wanting 100% capture, you’re being foolish because of expense, effort, aggravation etc.
I’m currently writing this from my satellite Starbucks office, where just this morning, I’ve likely spend 1/2 hour on business emails.
Hey Freightman, where did drunk's quoted post come from? Was it deleted after you quoted it?
BTW, does your satellite office look anything like this one:

Drunk must have deleted it, nothing controversial about it, certainly really sift in the political front - and given inconsistent rule enforcement, should have flown by with no problem. Of course, I could be wrong.
No, my Starbucks satellite us far more desirable appearance wise.
I saw that. What I didn’t look at was the logo. Is that Arabic type wording from an American city. Doesn’t really matter where. The reason I ask is that it would become an interesting legal issue. Starbucks would certainly register their name in any country they had a presence - and unless the look a like started their business (not likely), Starbucks would almost certainly pursue legal remedies.
Seems to me that McDonalds, in the early years when they were expanding at a geometric rate, could not open in a particular US state. An existing Hamburger small chain, had operated for a very long time under the name of NcDonalds. Seems to me the chain eventually received a very good price for the sale if shares - at least as the story was told to me.
