Okay, dumb question time -
When playing blackjack at a given casino in the US, what actually defines the rules of the game? I don't mean which variations are in use, but instead the fundamentals like ">21 is bust" etc.
The closest thing I could find is this page from the Mass. Gaming Commission, but I haven't found anything similar for other states like Nevada - what would apply there?
I'm imagining this hypothetical: I have a dispute with a casino because the dealer claimed I had bust when in fact I hadn't. What would I reference in the lawsuit to say "these are the rules of the game"?
