As casinos start to reopen, I've been calling around to see what the "new normal" for blackjack is going to be like. The latest casino I called has reopened with their usual rules, but like most reopening casinos only allows three blackjack players to a table and masks required. They also have a plexiglass barrier between the players and dealer.

Since only three players are allowed at a table, I thought they might remove the required double min to play two hands. I was told under the "new normal" you are allowed to play only one hand because the hole in the plexiglass is only big enough for one spot. I was kind of surprised by this. Anyway, this casino is above the 45th parallel.
