Sounds like you are scared shitless just like my wife is. I probably would be too if I lived in the New York area. However, I'm considering going to the casino again when table games open up. It all depends if they have masks and good social distancing in place. I will probably wait until after Labor Day to do so.

I thought there might be a lot of new cases of covid in the U.P. right after the casinos opened, but it doesn't appear to be the case. They don't release any info on cases so hard to tell, but today no new cases at all of covid in the entire U.P.

I find it real hard to breathe with a mask on. I know I won't be able to sit for 5 or 6 hours at a BJ table with a mask on. Maybe they will let you wear a face shield instead.

Anyway, if I wait for a vaccine I will be too old to enjoy going to the casino. I don't get sick very often, and don't get a flu shot. The last time I was really sick was back in 2000 with the flu.

I bet you will plan even more trips but take even less of them.

I wear a mask and maintain social distancing. My home is in a suburban area where there is less coronavirus than in NYC.

The last time you were "really sick" was when you had the flu, but "don't get a flu shot". Do you have a medical contraindication to flu shots?. If not, why don't you get one?

How about wearing a glove on the hand that touches the chips.

I'm guessing the casinos don't want dealers wearing gloves because of the fear that one of them might pocket a $5 chip.

Alas, the glory days of using vaginal secretions on your chips for good luck are over. I'm not liking the numbers I'm seeing on the virus spread, so rather than venture off to a casino in the middle of a pandemic, I might wait a bit longer.
