That won’t work. What might work is spreading to 2-3 hands at the flat bet. Without going into the juicy details, I did something similar to that (only allowed 1-8 spread at super juicy deep pen in country store which didn’t like action)

"Flat betting" in AC requires a 1:10 spread by NJ Gaming rules, unless the bet is $200 or more, than it can be a true flat bet.

What I've had happen to me in AC was getting told my max bet was limited to $50 (even in HL) and the placard got put in front of my spot.

P.S. to Don - Any idea whatever happened to Bob? Haven't seen a BJ21 post from him in several years.

No, have lost touch with him. Hope he's all right. One of our brightest stars.

I mentioned this in an old thread
But at Hilton AC probably 15 years ago they half shoed me spreading 5-60
I had time to kill for my bus back to NY so I would jump table to table at mostly full tables and those idiots kept half shoeing me
At one point there were 3 or 4 pit bosses moving by whatever table I moved to

So ridiculous, especially regarding your harmless max bet.

Pit bosses are born morons and it doesn't get better with the years...

Don't blame the pit critters. These decisions and orders come from higher management.

In Missouri, they cannot individually flat bet their patrons. The closest counter measure they can employ is lowering the table max, which applies to everyone at that table.

It's been about 5 years since I've been to France. At the time, a number of s17, das, ES games existed. Is early surrender now extinct in France? There were even a few low limit ES shoe games I encountered, but mostly CSMs with a slight off the top edge. Also, some of the worst BS players in the world; saw someone stand with an Ace 4.

The game is still 6 decks, S17, DAS, ENHC and out of the 200 casinos or so spread throughout France you cannot find any ES games anymore. They passed a new regulation last May and the most you can get (maybe in less than a dozen casinos) is ES10 but the max are at 100 Euros or about US$85

Another problem with the french casinos is that you have to play them in a "play all mode". A typical casino has one or two BJ tables and they get full from opening till closing time (say 7-8 pm to 1-3 am). So forget any "table hoping" or Wong out approach, you will lose your spot (they call it a box there). Well...you can back bet but you won't last enough to pay your round trip ticket!

You did the conversion backwards. 100 Euros = about 112 USD now.

    Yes, sorry, my mistake!
    Thanks for correcting me!
