You conveniently omitted incidence per table and Most experienced to support your statement.

Do I play DD? Almost never. Does Zee play DD? Yes, mostly.

Incidence is the first derivative of prevalence. So while the number or prevalence of APs playing DD may not be great, the incidence of backoffs is determined by rate of backoffs, which is considerably higher than that of a shoe game.

And a Yogiism back atcha: "You can observe a lot by watching."
Since you brought me into it.....what you posted is what you like to believe. You or Norm can do a poll asking the question...”Have you played a DD game in 2019” and see how many card counters have. You can ask how many years of experience they have. You would be surprised.

Its what is so troubling about this forum is when people who have not played DD in 20 years, never have used a players card in decades so confidently state stuff they have no recent experience about.

OK, poll is posted (with a typo in the title that hopefully Norm can fix). Unfortunately, there's no way to ask more than one question in a poll, so it will have to reply on comments posted. BTW, Zee, you could have posted the poll yourself.

Regarding your statement "not playing DD in 20 years...," when I was a kid, I burned my hand on a stove. There's no need for me to retest my earlier experience and see if a stove will still burn my hand.

ZeeBabar, if you been following the board for years, many players have reported that many casinos set up a few double deck games as a trap mainly for newer inexperienced counters "cooking with cards I am not talking about you". More experienced counters will not take the bait.

Zee another consideration is level of play. Many members max bet is at least 10x your max bet and playing the shoe game has a little less scrutiny depending on the house.

In my younger years while in Vegas, I invested about 10 minutes at the single deck 6-5 table with a further 10 minutes low low spread at double deck before sauntering over to the six deck table Where I let my hair down just a tad.

Lol!! That really was funny! I just wanted to make sure you know I never said I was you....I saw KJ's question, and I don't know where that came from, but it sure as hell wasn't me! I'm new, not stupid
