Who Says It Doesn't Snow in May
I'm going to dedicate this post to the person who just lives to give my weather posts an unhelpful. On second thought, he not only gives my weather posts unhelpful ratings, but all my posts. In fact, he does it so often that Moses even noticed.
Anyway, last night before I went to bed, I looked out the window and said "boy it is sure foggy out." Then upon a closer look I realized it wasn't fog, but snow. The temp today at noon was 27 degrees. Last week I spent 1.5 hours spreading snow around so it would melt faster as my spring clean up guy was to rake and clean up my yard. He just finished in time and then we got this snow. I still have a patch of snow in my back yard along the trees that hasn't melted yet and didn't have time to spread it before my clean up man came. It is a patch about 8 ft x 50 ft and will most likely be another week before its gone. I'm sure the mystery unhelpful rating guy will want to know when my snow is gone so I will be around this year when the last flake disappears. Last year, I was on a blackjack trip so missed the exact time, but this year I haven't been out of my yard since March 15th.
