This is the Blackjack Gods way of punishing the 6:5 blackjack games on the strip.

Seriously, as the fear escalates, this will be a major impact to casino (Las Vegas) traffic.

Let's all hope for an early spring and that the virus dissipates with the warmer weather.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

Yes. I really hope the warm weather slows this thing down. We entered a bear market today and yet it seems like this is just beginning.

Do a little research on his guest, Dr. Michael Osterholm. His appearance on that show was the most coherent and sober-minded explanation of what's currently going on that you'll find anywhere.

Boston's new Encore casino too. It was an NBA player who also went to a fancy spa in Boston. Apparently when these guys come to town they do far more partying and far less prepping for their game that I'd have thought.

Joe is one sharp cat.....don't be so quick to condescend
Do you know anything about him other than his podcast and his MMA background?
He's very informed and drills deep if he is uninformed on a subject before sharing any personal perspective on anything.
The guy is REAL and not who you may UPON first impression think he is.

Its kind of silly to think that way. I mean the long time AP does not spend his time in Las Vegas prepping. The game comes instinctively. Step into casinos you have been to before, sit at table, play. The NBA pro does the same thing on his trips. The equivalent of what you are saying would be that you expect the professional AP to sit on his bed with a deck of card, practice hi-lo for a few hours, memorize the already memorized deviations for his count for a few hours, stay away from spa’s.

But surely he's not as sharp as Donald Trump and Mike Pence

Casino closings next domino to fall. Casinos are petrie dishes for germs. A casino is PA shut their doors yesterday. Look for many others to follow, likely kicking and screaming like a petulant child as their doors are shut.
