Some Indian Casinos in Western U.P. and Northern WI Are Still Open

No coronavirus cases confirmed yet in U.P. and northern WI. However, most casinos in lower MI and eastern U.P. are closing. Some casinos in western U.P. and northern WI still open. The wife laid down the law. Don't bother coming home if you go to the casino.

Damn, after going all winter long with no gambling, this is going to be tough. The next two months are the best times for gambling. If we get the virus the snowmobilers will probably bring it up.

Even a nasty virus knows better than to live there.

Hard for a virus to survive under ten feet of snow.

Actually, this virus seems better at surfing colder temps than at warmer temps.

All casinos are going to be in trouble if we get to the forecasted 20% unemployment. Discretionary income will totally dry up.

Since I've been playing for only a few years and never paid attention to casinos prior to playing, I'm wondering what the more experienced players remember regarding how casinos react during economic downturns...do they losen their games to try and draw in more gamblers, or tighten them to increase hold?

No, they aren't that smart. For example, look what AC did when PA table games opened with all 3:2, S17, LS games. Absolutely nothing. They just watched their customers disappear and AC casinos started closing.
