I have never had to ask for a comp, anywhere, they mail them to me...and they're not coffee shop comps...BoSox Sour Grapes.jpg

Who knows really. We are just guessing off of what you have told us. But honestly it doesn't sound good.
At this point, I guess just keep playing but definitely lower the 40:1.
And definitely don't drop back down to minimum bet after every shuffle. Good luck!
I know the 40:1 sounds crazy, and like I said, I don't usually do it. This store has been so tolerant for so long, I figured it didn't matter. I always attributed the tolerance to my win/loss record, which shows me losing a lot of money to them.
One ray of hope: during the session with the heat, I dumped about 10% of my bankroll. Hopefully that bought (literally) me some longevity.
I've made the mistake of thinking a place doesn't care bc they're really tolerant and I turned into a pig causing me to get the ban
What really sucks is it's a place I play a lot of poker in so I have to respect the ban
Additionally the game went from decent to absolutely amazing in the last few months
We all make mistakes
We need to learn from them
You also said you have raised stakes...
Every casino is different. Some don't care much about red chip counters. But when you raise stakes, they say nope.
Yes that would be nice, but unfortunately they don't.
You also say that you show a nice looking losing record...I assume this is because you rathole.
Maybe the heat has nothing even to do with your 40:1 spread etc. Ploppies don't really rathole very much. They show off their wins.
If you rathole a lot, or especially green or higher without knowing what you are doing, then it is not good. Or when you cash out at the cage for much less than what the pit just saw you win and put in your pocket...not good.
Yes, I rathole. Plus I think they're a little sloppy in the pit - even I was surprised how much I'd "lost" when I ran the report. I rathole green, usually when I'm winning. After winning, I cash out anything over $500 in chips, regardless of win or loss. Next session I start with my $500 or less in chips. Is there a better strategy?
Maybe the pit is sloppy...or maybe you are...who knows? Lol.
If they find you out to be a rat-holer then that is not good. If you swipe green from their table and most other players are only playing red...then pit will notice.
Your "report" might say one thing.. but the dealers and pit know you are a rat-holer...
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!
