I always try to conceal what my actual winnings are. Now that 2019 is over, I went online to see my win/loss statement for 2019 in Wendover. To my surprise they had me down for almost a thousand more dollars than I actually won there in 2019. Now they probably won't offer me any more comped flights. Don't know how that could happen.

You didn't necessarily screw up. Pit critters need to balance their trays. If they miss some chips being taken off the table, they will assign it to one or more players. That's a large amount to be off by for a red chipper in a low roller joint.

If they base their comps on a player's win/loss record, especially for a short period of play, they are really stupid.

I have a card at one place and recently checked profit for the year. It was well above what I thought it should be (but well below actual). I realized I have to be very careful to get them to record all the buy ins. They frequently miss the subsequent ones or don’t count chips you walk up with. Next time I was more careful and sure enough they needed to be checked.

They did the reverse for me. I took a few hundred from them in 2019, but they have me down as losing $250. Maybe I lost a bit more than I thought as a ploppy, since I only became a Counter in July.

Yeah, I did something right in 2017. I won over a thousand, but they put me down for over a thousand loss.
