Changed my mind. Time for a comment :-)

Zee, you need a new way to think about this.

You are a recreational/hobby player. You've stated many times that you are unwilling to read, use software, learn, invest time to improve, etc. Consider yourself lucky that you found a hobby that is break eve or even a little profitable. Suppose you were playing golf, bowling, collecting coins, going to ballgames, etc. You'd be spending money on those things.

So just play your game. It's time to stop complaining about the reality of the game. That's not going to change anything. It is what it is.

This certainly is in the top 5 most ridiculous statements I have ever heard for an AP or even wannabe AP!

Z, your thought process continues to demonstrate the epitomy of gambling.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

Confession time! I leave tonight, go to airport in 3 hours. I lied indicating I was at airport yesterday. I was down $200 for the trip, after being ahead $2k over the previous 2 days. I was upset, thinking of quitting for the trip, go to sleep last night, get up and spend time at the movies till it’s time to go home.

You guys did your job, I got up early, went down to Starbucks for my croissant and hot tea, headed to action. First stop, won $500, next stop nearby, was another couple of hours for just $100. Playing DD games, yet another stop and I won $600. Then, frustratingly, I went down $700 ended up losing $500. I am now up $800 for the day, up $600 for the trip which makes it slightly better than even.

I am tired, so in my room, hoping for a short nap, hope to get in another 90 minutes of table time before going to return rental car and airport. Thanks.

Well, the story ended well. On my way to airport, stopped at New Orleans, first table the player to my left started smoking and it drifted my way, dropped $50 bucks, played two rounds, hopped to the next table with two players. One of the players jumped to two hands of $25 each, put up a 21-3 side bet of $10. He hit the side bet with a pair of kings, hearts, won $500 (50-1 pay off)), plus his two $25 bets, colored up and left. With another Asian player and I, I got lucky, by the end of the first show, was up $400, won another $600 on the next shoe daring to bet optimally and left for the airport up $1k. Trip ended up about $1400 after expenses.

However, something unexpected happened. As I returned my rental car, the guy checking car in walked around car, found a small rip in the bumper area. Someone must have hit my parked car in the parking lot. They noted it, said the company, Budget, would contact me. Now, I hope they don’t charge me a ton of money. I am not sure if the rip/dent, about a 50cent size, was there when Zi picked car up. Light was low, car was black and I did not notice it.

So now, time will tell if that was a successful trip..

Car rental insurance is more of a sucker's bet than BJ insurance :-)
Many credit cards cover rental cars that way.

Some insurance companies cover loss of use as well. My insurance covers loss of use for 4 different car rental companies.

Zee, where do you spend most of your playing time in Vegas? Is it the strip? Downtown? Other casinos? Do you ever play at Red Rock?

Zee says "You guys did your job" lol. Again.
How about you do your own job and like buy a book, or software etc...it's only been like what 6+ years? Or stop posting voodoo, or find another hobby? Golf is fun, and expensive too.

If I did that, I would miss reveling in the fact that I annoy you and you cannot ignore my posts.

Yes, I play at RedRock and another 5 station casinos, play on strip and downtown too. I check CBJN, make 3 lists. First is a list of casinos with $25 minimum DD games, another of casinos that offer both $($10+ minimum and $25) and a third of casinos where I play only the red chip DD games.

Some, for example the strip, is where the $25 DD games get crowded except before noon or after midnight so I don’t go there at other hours. Others are places where lower minimum games get crowded but $25 min tables are available (Station casinos other than a Red Rock and Green Valley).

Over time, I have developed and keep refining my list of where to go at various times so you get to play comfortably (uncrowned but not intense scrutiny). No point getting to a casino to find crowded conditions or where there is no one playing and you get intense scrutiny.

There are a couple of excellent games downtown as well as non chain casinos.

It it all depends un how often you plan to go. If you are planning on a single trip in a year, you can just play, not care about back offs. For me, longevity matters and I treat Las Vegas as my local casinos.
