It is finally here. I am making my first trip in nearly a year. playing off of a 30,000$ bank and keeping full time job / 2nd part time job to offer bank replenishment of around +6,000$ a month.

I am playing mostly H17 DD with mediocre pen utilizing a spread as follows:

start at 2X$50

+1 : 2X$50

+2 / +3 : 2X$100

Max @ +4 and above : 2X$200

in negatives i will drop to 2X$20 or possibly one hand of $10 depending on casino tolerance.

Utilizing Halves and full indices. My risk of ruin is negligible (<1%).

Do you not have any software? Your ramp is way off of optimal. You have almost a half percent edge at +1 and should be raising your bet. Your edge at +2 is double that of +1, and the bet increase should reflect that, which it does, but then you make the same bet at +3, which is surely a mistake. It should be 50% greater than the +2 bet. Finally, for a $30,000 bank, 2 x $200 is somewhat overbetting.

@Don starting off high comes at marginal cost and is a way of masking a larger spread. My ramp is not optimal but rather suited more to cover while keeping EV worth my time.
