If mrboxing can accurately utilize hi-opt II and know what wonging is, then WHY is he wasting time with a progression system that (by the TG website) uses a two unit (parlay plus & SNC) or five unit (New Millinium) betting strategy. And mrboxing espouses the old "it's the casino's money " rationale. Oh Lord.....

He only holds the money temporarily for the casino. Then he gives it back. That is why he calls it the casino's money.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. I still shudder when I open my 13 year old copy of the blackjack Zone and see the results of the quiz in the front of the book.

At this point of your post, I stopped reading. Then I saw all the comments and wasted about 3 minutes reading and about 15 trying to understand your logic. I'm not trying to be cruel, but you are just another person gambling with very little understanding or less than you think. Retraining your brain as far as gambling goes is required.

Around 1991 I purchased a piece of Blackjack training software that had been designed by a notable player.

It gave pretty good advice on counting, basic strategy and modified strategy, and had a good modelling program (so that you could test different strategies over a few million random hands e.g.) ... well, it was good for 1991.

It also gave a bunch of crap about progressions and stop loss etc. He advocated a Fibonacci progression.

Even though back then I didn't know much about blackjack, I was enough of a maths whizz to realise that this was pointless.

The funny thing was that if you used his own modelling program to test it, his recommended progression system didn't do as well as a simple ranging (ie quadrupling the bet when the count is low.).

This man was a noted professional player. You have to wonder how all this stuff gets inside people's heads.

I don't play AC anymore since they banned smoking. A big part of my game was finding the tables with full ashtrays and lots of dirty glasses. Without the dirty ashtrays, I can't zero in on the hot tables.

From what Ive seen of the Revel ghost-town, they would allow hookers to ply their trade under the casino tables if it meant keeping the place open. NJ politics at its finest: Revel gets $300 mil in tax breaks and writeoffs, and goes bankrupt. Meanwhile, Chris Christie pulls the plug on the NY-NJ tunnel, killing thousands of jobs...thus reducing potential play at Revel.
    And the circle continues....

I don't think another tunnel has or ever had anything to do with revel's potential. They made the decision to build a mega casino in a city already in trouble and go after The High Rollers that don't exist anymore for that town.Smoking sections were brought back years ago for slot areas i don't know about table game areas.Christie at least has the foresight to pass sports betting and internet gambling to help them.look bottom line is they had over 30 years to build the city like they said they were going to and did nothing. i'm sorry but the corporations that have interest in AC are run by Morons.(thats a nice word).

The Revel has done everything they can to alienate High Rollers. All the HR's I know went once or twice and never went back. They tried to market to the non-gamblers believe it or not. No VIP lines for the big players. Everyone treated the same. Comps are terrible. What high roller is looking for that?
