Your funny KJ. Not much bothers me at the blackjack table. I do a pretty good job of controlling the table. Obviously controlling midshoe entry is an important skill. I am probably more successful than most at it. I know in theory they should help you as much as hurt you. The lady I mentioned jumped in early in a monster count. She messed me up for a while when she jumped in but I made a lot before the end of the shoe. Maybe that would have been the opposite otherwise. On a next hand basis the number of times it hurt is like 9 times for every time it helped so far. The worst is when they jump in to your right and get your first cards. Most of the time your ace (At least it seems so. Of course side counting the ace I know a buttload of surplus aces are out there). Everyone has a pet peeve. I wish I didn't have one but alas...

I had a monster count heads up and this asian kid jumped in and didn't ask just as the cards were being dealt. He already had the chips so I had no chance to say anything. He totally screwed up a big hand for me. I turned and gave him a look that must have sent chills down his spine. He pulls out of the game and watches. The last hand of the shoe he asks this time and I tell him I don't want him to interrupt the flow of the cards. And that he should wait. He plays anyway. Of course two wins turn into two max bet loses. Fortunately for him he quickly high tailed it for the exit. If he was just a ploppy I wouldn't care but he was a back counting AP I believe and I was seriously thinking of kicking his ass. His quick retreat showed he knew that was about to happen but he jumped in on me when he had to know what I was doing. The little pr*ck cost me over $1000 in two rounds. I will remember him though. He better not try that again. Moo how would you have kept the little sh*t from playing?

I am sure you can think of another way to mess him up. I think you did all you could at that time though, but then maybe not.

You have to be careful what you say about wonging in, many here do it, I have done it and when I do I do not ask,,,but I know your feelings, and you are not alone.

Be careful about talking about beating someones AZZ though, does not sound like you, sorta like some people bragging about how quickly they take money from people at the Poker table, you just never know who that other guy really is or what they are capable of, being HUMBLE is a very good virtue.


Tthree, remember what Norm said in the "Norm Attack" thread,?, you have said it, I have said it,,just because some guy is an AP does not mean he is your friend, not at all, often it is just the opposite. I am loyal to those friends I have made, very loyal, and they know who they are, for those others, I really could give a flyin Fuc#.

Everyone has their pet peeves. I don't care if you bounce from 1 to 2 hands all day. I don't care how you play your hand but it is courtesy to ask if minds if you are entering midshoe. It never fails to screw things up.

That is one advantage of a L1 count. Things like this don't screw up the flow. Maybe you should reconsider...

Now that was a very very brief mock, was it not... Let's face it, KJ and others tried to point out the error of your ways, but there are none so deaf...
And next time you spot that little ****, make sure he doesn't mess with the sacred flow of cards, and that especially, he don't take the dealer bust card. Only then can you be happy.

Failing that, just belt him one, fair in the mouth.
