Please excuse my ignorance as I know that the following is a simple, pedestrian question.

I am of course aware that counting strategies keep track of 'high cards,' but, aside from keeping an Ace side count, do any specifically keep track of 10s separate from Aces?

In other words, because Aces are so much more valuable than 10s, are there counting strategies that assign a greater weight to Aces over 10s? For example, maybe a value of -5 to Aces and a value of -1 to 10s.

I realize this has already been figured out, but what Count clearly alerts the player that the remaining cards are very rich in BOTH 10s and Aces, thereby signaling a higher likelihood of a subsequent blackjack.

But I guess such a Count does not outperform Hi Lo, correct?
