Dumb question for today..splitting pairs against 8

    Using HiLo

Is there a TC where you split against a dealer 8? Like pairs, 2-7?

You’re the one that needs to learn index plays. You had better check your single and double deck tables to see where and how the question applies.

    Zee
You must have Wongs Professional BJ. Check the tables starting around somewhere around page 250.

You didn’t state the obvious, therefore, you know not the obvious.

It’s been fun, but it’s bedtime. Catch you tomorrow.

I believe 2,2, 3,3, and 7,7 all become splits against 8 in higher true counts. I want to say around +5 for the lot of them. Pair splits are less important relative to other indexes because they occur at a lower frequency.

Finally an answer. Thanks. I wondered what TC to use for splits with an 8 showing.

Don't you own, you know... books? You should just be on everyone's ignore list. It's absurd you ask these questions.

Spare everyone the "pro players are bitter and I'm just a lowly recreational" bullshit....

Note that the OP did not specify game rules, so the question cannot be answered as posted. And yes, that is a basic question for which one should find in their own reference books.

Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you've fed him for a lifetime

when specific game rules are not mentioned, go with the most common rules and BJ available. DD and 6 Deck. H17, no S, everything else is standard.

You are just posting cause it’s me.

Wouldn’t DAS/NDAS be key to the answer? And yes, this is something anyone can look up easily.
