Can see bottom card before cut

    Hi All,
Sometimes dealers expose the bottom or top card before they offer me the cut on 2D.
I am then able to cut to that card. Sometimes I throw out a max bet.
Is it enough positive EV for me to put out a max bet when I think the Ace or Ten will come out in the next round and hope it lands on me?

You should consider busting this and contacting people privately.

    Agree

However, if you can track down the Semyon Dukach DVD on Advanced techniques, all your questions will be answered.

Thanks for posting this. I'm ordering a copy today. I didn't even know a DVD like this existed.

I think there are actually two DVDs, part I with card counting etc. and part II with more advanced techniques. Bought and watched them years ago but should re-watch them.

Hey I'm the guy that tried convincing everyone to stop posting sensitive info in the general forum...but I was totally rebuffed. So really I have no other choice. All you cheapskates won't even pay for Norm's subscription so that we can ask stuff like this in the advanced forum.

I don't recall that discussion. In any case, my reply above is all you need.

It's not the money. I don't give anyone or any company automatic payment privileges in my accounts. In any case, I think Norm should consider opening up PM privileges for all. It would make for a better forum.

Give me a break. Posting a link to an old DVD like that isn't costing anyone anything. Posting "Hey, this casino has this exploitable opportunity" would be one thing, but a video running examples of basic things to exploit isn't costing anyone. I guarantee the situations in that video are either rare to find or take serious dedication to be able top exploit. More importantly, any place fading millions of dollars of action on a yearly basis has already discovered those videos and those opportunities and have protocol in place to defend against the best they can.

When someone sells a video like that the value of the info depreciates faster than a new car driven off the car lot.

Usually they won't let you cut two cards from the bottom, so you should practice cutting exactly ten cards in. Just get a deck of cards and a cut card, and try to cut ten from the bottom, count how many cards you cut off, rinse and repeat. Make sure to account for the cut card.

It just seems smarter than what continues to be posted here.

Guy no offense, but you really are new to blackjack and don't know what you are talking about.

I didn't ask how to cut to the card...that is simple enough. I am asking about the EV.

Why? A 15 year old publicly available dvd is hardly sensitive information. And even if it was, who says it has to go under Advanced Techniques? Or that posting it online in a paid area limits access in any meaningful way? Get over yourself dude.
