    Whatever happened to Three?

Haven’t seen a post of his in forever, and I saw in another thread that he is gone?

Three is still signed up to receive private messages. About a month ago, I sent him a private message to see if he was okay, but received no answer. I think his last post was sometime in March of 2019. I do hope he is okay. Maybe the last biker gang he took on didn't go to well.

Anyway, I was never close to him and did not know him. There must be somebody here who knew him and could let us know if he is okay. I wish no ill will to anyone.

PS. He also use to post over at Blackjackinfo as "Dummy", but hasn't been seen over there since around Feb 2019.

I’m happy to hear that. I used to give him a rough time for verbosity. The fact of the matter is that the verbosity camouflaged the good stuff.

There really was some good shit buried in his writings.

Not really. Most of his stuff was bullshit, debunked by many, including DonS, many times, yet he was like the Energizer bunny and just kept going.

There certainly were some oddities and h3 did go off on tangents - believe it or not - there was good high end shit too, you just had to recognize it.

The problem is although the stuff he was saying was "true", he way over emphasized how good it is. It'd be like saying you can make a lot of money playing blackjack (true), then follow it up by saying you'll earn billions of dollars a year (complete bullshit). In fact, a lot of what he said is harmful to players, particularly new players, who aren't experienced or knowledgeable enough to crunch of the numbers and figure out HOW LITTLE making upgrades to your game is. I mean FFS, he was boasting about 5%+ edges (or maybe it was 5x the EV of a regular hilo player), also with a super low N0 and practically no variance, and I'm sure a bunch of other crap that I can't remember. That isn't just misguiding people, but that is outright harmful to players who don't know any better.

Agree and he finally admitted that most of his bullshit wasn't even about blackjack...rather Spanish 21 or other variants.
Plus around the time of his disapearance, he started deleting thousands of his old posts (who does that?) after being routinely called out on his bullshit... trying to cover his tracks.
Plus other good members either left or were banned as a direct result to standing up to Three and some other forum bullies.

And to be honest...I have been wondering if bjanalyst wasn't Three's most recent sock. He has many of Three's posting characteristics, and Three suddenly disappeared exactly at the time bjanalyst arrived on the forum.

They weren’t similar at all. The only thing in common was verbosity. What was your former name?

Having corresponded with both privately, I can tell you that they are not the same person.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
