    Dealer mistakes

Hello I would like some feed back on the subject of the dealer misreading the value of his/her hand. This has happened a number of times when the dealer would pay a losing hand by error, I don't think it is my job to alert them on this mistake, but there seems to be some good Samaritans that end up at my table this has happened to me twice in the last two weeks where the dealer thought they busted and went to pay the table and out of no where a voice reeked out but dealer you have a 21. These people act like the casino will reward them for their stupidity or they think karma will smile on them and reward them nicely either way this really chaps my nether regions. What do you think about this subject?

I think they need to pay you out of their pocket to make up the money they cost you.

One more reason why you should pay alone.

If anything when they draw a multiple card 21 I say 22 busted. The power of suggestion. It has worked a few times.

Ran into this a couple different times. Here is how I tried to stop it - I replied "Thank god you caught that. That would of been terrible getting accidentally paid off". The table will usually laugh and give a weird look to the idiot. Both instances the offender slumped in their chair and left a short while later. Maybe coincidentally, but probably because their stupidity was loudly called out in a non-confrontational way. I only reply if I was the one involved in the fiasco. I've seen short BJ payoffs a few times to other player's or other people getting screwed out of an accidental payoff. I don't bother opening my mouth. Not my problem, I'm only worried about my hands and payoffs.
