The big advantage in this game is on doubling. With your 11 or 10 you wouldn't double down if you know the dealer has a high hole card with a 7 thru ace. I'm also guessing game variance will be lower on this game than regular blackjack.
Years ago my local casino offered double exposure for awhile. I learned the basic strategy for this game as presented in Professional Blackjack and did quite well on it. In fact, for a while my biggest win record was on double exposure. I do remember one guy refusing to hit his 20 against the dealer 20 saying he was only going to break anyway and to just take his money. What an idiot.
I do think the casinos are making money hand over fist on this game as most folks don't know how to play it. It would take some effort to memorize basic strategy for this game, but if you have this game available nearby it might be worthwhile to learn it.
It would be nice if someone could sim this game to see how good it actually is.
