KCMO... No, they cannot back you off. They can, however, make the game unplayable. DD is usually a flat bet, while 6D starts as a half shoe then moves further and further in, until you get the hint.
At DD, they jut announce to the table "folks, we have an advantage player at the table, and as long as that player is here, the minimum bet is $25 and the maximum bet is $50" while they look directly at you. At 6D, they wait until someone notices the half (or less) shoe and do the same.
The ugliest backoffs I have seen were in KCMO. Yes, all but one casino is a database participant, and they are quick to do so. I suspect they are bitter that they can't back you off, so they go for blood. I was databased for a 1-3 (breakeven) spread on DD. I was playing very conservatively because I did not want to lose the area. My lifetime winnings at the databasing casino were under 5K.

Funny thing, one Ameristar put me in the OSN database, the others let me play everywhere. I just play and if they ask, I refuse the card, say I dont have one. One of them even said, "You used to have it, give me your name". I told him a stort about ID theft and no, I was not going to share my name. Luckily, I was down at the time, he left me alone and I played a few hours there.
