Not all casino executives are stupid. I have to believe somebody will realize that 6 to 5 is too big of a negative. But what I don't understand is how one particular book is real good for betting sports, yet sweats out any kind of spread at all in blackjack.
As for the parking charges, when I go to Vegas, I never rent a car. Uber, Lyft or cab from McCarron. One of my favorite things to do is comparison shop for prices on regular season win totals. I start around Excalibur and work my way north all the way up to the Wynn. Great way to get exercise as well. I think its around 3 miles from Excalibur to Wynn but when factoring in heading into and out of casinos, it has to be at least 5 miles. But there's so many ride sharing options, one doesn't need a car there.
I apologize in advance for my crass and unprofessional characterization of fellow human beings.
Now here is a statement of fact that I would find a need to challenge. Any identification of a pit critter with above average intelligence should be considered a unicorn. These people operate with a miniscule amount of indiviidual authority and perform their duties from the fear that today's hold will be less than the target. Someone who bets more than the minimum must be a counter.
Even Don S. has commented that these folks are below whale shit. Think amoeba!
While some may find these comment derogatory to the profession, consider that they were derived by countless hours of observation and interaction.
Now Don S can correct my use of the English languagee and its proper punctuation. And, for that matter, the premise and statement of my response.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!
"I would assume that statistically, the correct spelling of the word minuscule is in the minority."
The correct spelling of hundreds of words on the Internet is in the minority! For every time "you're" is spelled correctly, it's spelled "your" about ten times as frequently.

Don't expect MGM to go to 3-2 blackjack any time in near future:

This just shows what Norm has been saying for years. People bring a certain amount with them to lose. The bigger house edge is just causing them to lose their stake more quickly, instead of making them lost more money. Casinos should really concentrate on giving people more value for their gambling dollar (time on device) if they’re just gonna lose a certain amount no matter what.
