Machine BJ double down and received NO CARD

Ive been playing this bj machine for a couple years now. Its single deck continuos shuffle. The other day, I doubled down on 11 and it gave me no card. It light up "double down" indicating that i indeed selected double down. No card was given to my 11. The dealer then proceeded to draw to 18 and i lost.

The manager came over and was puzzled. He ended up giving me my 2 units back. (Did i miss out on ev? Havent looked up what ev of dd11 vs 18 is)

This seems very strange and the manager couldnt explain how i didnt receive a card.

What does this have to do with anything..

Let me tell you something happening to me recently. At least it is Blackjack related.

In the end of a shoe, dealer got Blackjack three out of her last four hands. Certainly this pissed off all players, most of us got 20. So the full table became head-to-head. Something extremely rare and almost impossible happened next. My first hand I got pair of Queen of Heart. So did the dealer! Dealer said you cut the card, you should play the side bet. Ha!

Not only the ASM tried to cheat the Blackjack. They also tried to cheat the Queen of Heart side bet as when the ASM shuffled, it was the full table. Four consecutive Queen of Heart means nobody will get it.

Then this was the next six hands: (X=face hard)

Me: XX Dealer: AX (Dealer offered insurance. But RC near -40. Some part of me really wanted to but I just couldn't when TC is so negative. God is testing if I truly believe what I advocate. Guess God won today.)

At the end of the seventh hand, RC is -42. TC is -7, even we haven't play one full deck yet. I colored my remaining chips. I had consecutive 20 in my last 10 hands and did not win any single one of them because dealer had five BJ and either beat or push the rest of the hands. Pit boss came and said, "Leaving so soon?"

I replied, "And Norm Wattenberger said there is no Beast Mode."

Pit boss said, "Norm who?"

I said, "Exactly."

There's a lesson you should be taking from your experiences that you don't seem willing to take. I'm sure the perks are great. Only you can decide if playing a game that isn't square is worth the perks.

At this point, you've had Shackleford say stop playing the game and now you doubled and didn't receive a card. If it's just a bug, how many other bugs does it have? What's it going to take for you to stop? Hitting 3,3 and getting three more threes?
