u might wonder why this would make me uncomfortable, it was because i thought the others players would notice, resent me for getting a better rate (i guess those heavy losses of 1 third of my lifes savings and networth 3 years ago finally paid off) and complain enough to make the lady who runs the pit not do it for me anymore, but she remembered the heavy loss of 15,000 which kind of destroyed my life ever since. and i dont think she realized i was counting, and varying how i played the hands according to the count because i was insisting on playing a shoe instead of 1 or 2 decks, (most counters dont do this) and also because i was martingaling my bets, (but of course never on bad counts, only on good counts). but it doesnt look like you're counting when u reduce bets at times when the count still goes up. of course, i was reducing the bets to 2 hands of $25, instead of to 1 spot of $10 on good counts, so im still getting in much larger bets and flat betting the minimum on bad counts. sometimes i was raising the bet $1 after a loss on bad counts, and briefly to 2 spots so it would look like im still martingaling when im not.

however the others at my table were completely oblivious and never said a word when they got $6 on a $5 bet while i got $7.50. i wonder what each new dealer who came into the box thought? the sign said 6-5 and she told me the day before she couldnt find a spare 3-2 sign for shoes since they got rid of all their 3-2 shoes. i asked a few friends about this on twitter and found out the casino was doing this legally, i was surprised it was. but i still wonder what theyll do in the future. sooner or later theyll suspect me of having an edge, even though ive lost more often than not at blackjack in the past, regardless of how much of the money goes in at an edge in my favor.
