All I wanted to know was what kind of SCOREs people were getting on pretty much any setting with 6 decks. I also don't know why you're getting so annoyed, I never tried to tell people what you do or don't know. I was simply sharing my results. I hope others in this forum aren't as sensitive... The key word is "6 decks". When this game was offered in 1960's, it was one deck. Over the decades, the shoe was increased to two, four, six and now eight. At six or eight decks, there are no magic indexes to make players win, flat betting. No matter how hard you try the different combinations on the simulators. Don is trying to tell you. You can only win using "spread". The standard in the past decade is to bet $10 when casinos have the advantage. Bet $40 when players have 0.5% advantage. Bet $80 when players have 1% advantage. Bet $120 when players have 1.5% advantage. Bet $160 when players have 2% advantage. Bet $200 when players have 2.5% advantage. This is called 20 to 1 spread as you bet from $10 to $200. Also called full Kelly betting. I said the PAST standard because when casinos see players bet 20-to-1, they think it is likely that he is an AP so they will ban him. So people reduce spread to like 12-to-1.

I'm absolutely not trying to pile on, or suck up to anyone but... I'm new to the forum too. I think you really should look at the older threads and identify which posters have the best value in their answers. There are several guys here that really stand out from the start. When these guys chime in, it's usually going to add something important to your game.

I think a lot of posters under estimate the value in the access to great players that they have here for free or $3.00 per month. Coming from a poker back round, I remember in the late 90's early 2000's on twoplustwo when you could still get world class players and thinkers to routinely give poker advice to you even if you were a complete novice. It's not that way anymore there, but this forum gives blackjack players that same opportunity.
