Why do we post here and not on the Card Counting Forum Plus??!!

I am not too paranoid...but why do we post our secrets on this open forum?
It is so easy now for casino employees to view all that we discuss.
When I joined, I immediately paid Norm for his great venue but I got very few responses in the paid forum.
Now we have Colin from Blackjack Apprenticeship with a YouTube channel and videos showing everything a casino needs to further ruin our local games.
Of course card counting info has been known since decades ago...but now it is SO EASY to find. Before you had to buy a book...now all our discussions etc are a simple click away for all pit critters.
Are all of you paid members? We should move all discussions to the paid forum.

Casinos aren't as stupid as you think they are. There is nothing on BJ Apprenticeship that most casinos aren't already very well aware of. They have quick shuffles that may be exploitable because they make more money with quick shuffles and deep penetration. There are books by Zender, Forte, Jacobson, and others that have all of the same information. I have a phony casino company and get invited to dozens of seminars annually on every topic from marketing to game protection to whatever. The information is all out there and yet some casinos don't care. A few You-Tube videos aren't going to make a difference.

Yes like I said, books have been available forever but...how many people today actually buy and read books? YouTube videos and open forums make it SO much easier.

Can't say it on an open board but ask your wife what she thinks of it...

Pretty much anyone who is even mildly serious about gaining an advantage in BJ. See below.

Check out the GWAE episodes with Griff, an eye-in-the-sky guy. Compared to cheating and employee theft, APs are a small expense, which is probably why they haven't taken more proactive countermeasures.

Another reason is probably that the ratio of APs playing a winning game to pseudo-APs who THINK they're playing a winning game is probably lower than we all think. If you offer a beatable game, you lure in people who will try to beat it and fail. And if you do see someone beating your game, you bar 'em.

Proactive countermeasures are incredibly expensive. They are like nuking your house because you found 1 roach 5 years ago. Most players are not AP's. Treating the entire casino customer base like they are criminals by requiring players card to play double deck or not allowing mid-entry cost the casino thousands of dollars a week in expected value. Players that aren't playing aren't losing.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
