    casino verite TC

Just downloaded free trial. Curious why when the running count is 3 with 6 decks remaining the TC is one. If you get the TC by dividing the remaining decks, wouldn't you have to have a running count of at least 6 to have a TC of one? (6 deck game)

Oddly, everyone calcs TC a bit differently since the books tend to only provide obvious situations. It depends on the settings on the TC Calculation tab on Options-Settings.

I don't want to sound like a fool but I can't figure it out. I am currently playing a 4 deck game w 3.5 decks remaining. The running count is 9 yet the TC is somehow 5. I have played with all the settings except the custom TC. Your help is greatly appreciated. Shouldn't the RC in this situation be roughly 3.5/9 = 2 or 3.

How many cards were in the discard tray? What strategy is selected?

There was half a deck in the discard tray. It was a four deck game. TCRes=half deck, TCDivision=round, Last Deck Res=half deck, Deck Estimate=round, Deck Estimate Accuracy=6, Remaining Cards Calc=subtract cards in tray

Right now I have 2.5 remaining decks of a 4 deck game (1.5 deck in the discard tray). The RC is 7 but the TC is 6? Don't I divide the RC of 7 by remaining 2.5 to get a TC of appx 3?

    The strategy is High-low.

    Thx

Are you sure you don't have the Custom TC option turned on? The default table used by this option defines the Mentor TC calc, which would give you that answer and the one in the previous post. If not, go to File-Backup and send the backup to [email protected]

The custom TC on box is not checked. I tried to save the backup and it stored it but it will only store as a zip file. I don't know how to send it as a zip file; excuse my ignorance. I will just buy the software. I'm assuming if I do it that way I will have to load something that probably won't have the same glitch. Just want to make sure I wasn't somehow miscalculating the TC.

    Thx

Obviously it is just rounding up with no fractions. I'm sure it's just a setting.
