    Tunics gone to the dogs..

Busy Saturday night with tables on main floor and high limit full when I got there. Finally sat down at a red chip table, $15 minimum, 6 deck full table.. Played $15 min on one hand, went to two hands of $30 each in positive count, only played 2 hands of $55 on a few slightly positive rounds. I got lucky too when I had 2 hands of 13 against dealer 10, but and got 19, 20, dealer busted.

In any case, played just 2 shoes, was up $300 when I get a tap by suit asking me to step away, two polite suits say they have decided to flat bet me, that I could play but not go to 2 hands and not increase my starting bet. I colored up and left.

I was very obvious but with a crowded casino on a Saturday night, playing a red chip table with no hand more than $55, they flat bet me. Can't believe that with so many players in the hL room and lots of $25 min DD and 6 deck tables, they managed to track and flat bet me.

Thought they would pay no attention and the dealer never called checks play either.

Did you get any heat at the other casinos in Tunica? They probably checked OSN. Hard to believe anyone would get backed off with just two hands of $55 max bet. Were you playing rated?

The first time I got backed off I was spreading $10 to $40. I had not even gone over $50. And to top it off I was down about $100. It happens. I obviously wasn’t in any data base since this was my first backoff.

There are are some sweaty casinos out there.

    Tunica is a very hostile environment to attempt count cards;
especially as you are greedy enough to spread $15 to 2 X $55.
After decades and you still do not know better than to split to
two (2) hands spreading $15 to a suspiciously odd amount of
    2 X $55 [$15:$110] for an aggressive spread ~ (on marginally
advantageous rounds no less) of 11.5:1 Even in a shoe game,
exceeding 8-1 on 1 spot OR less than that on two (2) spots.
will bring the sneering suits to your table.

For many years I have told you this, you demented degenerate.

Your post is a cautionary tale for amateur players, as long as
they perceive it as such; though amateurs may not feel that way.

Can you please explain how a spread of 15 to 110 is 11.5:1?

It's just my two cents, but if a player can't spread 7.33:1 on a SHOE game, in red no less (!), then it isn't shame on the player; rather, it's shame on the piece of shit casino.

    Sorry Folks,

My third (3rd) error of the week. This is getting a more than embarrassing.

Don S. is 100% correct, but I learned a decade ago to not spread horizontally.

I made a few trips to Tunica 3 or 4 years ago, and it wasn't worth a damn. I was never backed off or countermeasured but the games were garbage - 2D game pen was 40% in some places, a best of 55% pen. Seems that things are even worse now.

Nothing wrong with two hands if it's from the top. I have dementia too but I still play. Just can't remember where.

Your car is probably data based as well. They knew you were there before you even entered the casino. They were willing to take a shot at your money but not let you do any damage. You got traction quick so they acted quick. If you would have lost all night the would have just watched. Or acted when you had a really juicy situation but hadn't started winning yet. They no doubt told the other casinos to Be On the LookOut for you. The other casinos can do what they want with the information. You didn't listen to everyone's warnings and now you have made your bed and have to lie in it. Hopefully the newbies had enough sense to listen to all the other members and not you when you gave advice about playing rated.

Zee needs to be specific about which casino or at least hint if he is afraid they will put two and two together. I am somewhat a expert on tunica conditions. You certainly cant play long at trashy paranoid sweaty shops like hollywood, resorts, fitz, dont give your name to those places!. Small action and brief visits can be had at sams town and 1st jackpot, but you need to know how to manage your appearance and look like a losing gambler and not an ap and milk a few hundred at a time, dont try to stay there and take several K and think they wont demand ID!, obviously never provide it if they do, just walk out with the chips.

The only good game conditions that will take the action for day long sessions is gold strike. $25 DD with decent pen is widely available and $10min 6deck with ok pen available.

    I play mostly

    5or10min to 2x100
    and 25 to 300

Tunica is a super sweaty shop, and treats anyone without players card as automatic counter. I personally am playing a mix of rated and unrated depending the place, one location called me a card counter and said they databased me, but has not affected my play at the other places. Its going to be hard to get any action there without playing rated and establishing your self with a familiarity of playing slots, craps, and other tables games first, so casino doesnt see you just blackjack/player possible card counter.

I have several hundred hours of play there, and its worked for me, a couple very hostile back-offs, i was literally surrounded by the entire security team and casino managers and then chased throughout their property, though bathrooms stalls, through hotels, through neighboring casinos, followed by a car. So if your comfortable handling those kind of runs in as I am, dont let it deter you. I made one mistake and one of them knows my name the other doesn't. But I'm still getting in the action there. most on this site would say just dont go, but for some its the only close location. If your playing unrated, take your plate off and put it in the passenger seat or something, before you park in their lots, that's what i do lmao!

Of course, but spreading to two hands at an advantageous count is sooo obvious.
Safer is starting with two (2) hands and retreating to one hand at minimum when
smart to do so without returning to two hands until after the shuffle.
