    My email account was hacked

    If you got an email today, allegedly from me, stating that there is a document for you to open in Dropbox, please ignore it. My account was hacked, and I have since changed the password.

    Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

    Does your email let you set up two step verifications? I have seen someone successfully hacking an email account that does two step verification for login. For example, I have my gmail account hacked before and after that whenever I log into my gmail account it sends a text message or call my phone. If I get a text message or call when I didn't attempt to log into that email I would know someone is messing around with my account.

    Oh shit. I got a continuation of a conversation that I opened which had no new conversation added. Oh well, water under the bridge. Hopefully nothing bad will happen. Do you have any idea what might have piggy backed onto my computer?

    No, that was me! This was just today. Unfortunately, it used to happen often with AOL accounts.

    It is the other way around. If you go to porn site and click a video, the site is able to place a worm or a virus on your computer. Then it can report your keyboard strokes (passwords) to the hacker. This should teach Don a lesson.

    Well at least the Email that I got didn't say anything at all, nothing about a dropbox. The timing makes me feel uncomfortable. It disappeared after I opened it instead of showing up in the read mail.
