You are not only trying to add AA89mTc to KO but your intention is also to add the Am8, 6m2, 87m23 as third dimension side count. I am not keeping three component count in my head, far less likely, that I will do that with casino chips. It won't take long until you make your system into four or five components or even 30 components.
    Don't be willingly obtuse. He clearly said for anyone interested in the book they could go to Xlibris and search for bjanalyst. As he said, the E-Book versions are 3.99.

    There are lots of valid criticisms, many that I have made, but (intentionally or unintentionally) accusing him of being dishonest about the price of his book isn't right. I don't get any sense that he's in here trying to push a book. I may have been the first person to mention the book in the thread, but that's because I was only aware of 1 of them and he said there were others.

    Criticize harshly but fairly. It's easy to do, watch:

    bjanalyst: if you want people to use your system, the language you use to talk about the system needs to be easier to follow. If Gronbog's sims show a meaningful gain over other systems, the next step might be find someone to help you with the way the concepts are presented.

    He did say it is better to keep side bets using chips instead of your brain. So you can use four piles of chips to track AA89mTc, Am8, 6m2 and 87m23.

    I won't do it, either. But that is the author's recommendation because normal people cannot keep one main count and four side counts simultaneously.

    Is this a honest answer? Does it imply that you got zero royalty check from Amazon book sales?

    I sometimes use chips to keep a side count. The key is to be creative in how you do it. You don’t just stack up chips on the side of your piles. Since I constantly play with my chips, I’ll just put chips over my big pile and the side count is separated by a white chip. There are many ways to do it without being detected. As long as you aren't playing black or purple, I doubt if anybody’s going to pay much attention to moving chips here and there and think your using chips to count.

    I’m a world class ratholer too so doing things like this without being detected comes second nature to me. Lol.

    I don't keep track of the count with chips either. But adding a chip to any stack to keep a side count is so obvious that you can't hide it. There are more subtle ways to use chips to keep a straight side count. The nature of ranks per deck is a base four system. One chip can track partial decks of the side counted card if YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DO SO. DAMn there goes that cap locks again. There aren't that many decks used to make tracking the number of full decks of a side counted rank that have been removed to add to your one chip's partial deck side count. By not adding chips often or even tracking anything by a chip stack it will be almost impossible to detect the use of tracking with chips.

    By the way tracking the cards using chips is illegal under the law. You are using a device, a stack of chips, to track cards to gain an advantage in the game. If you choose to cheat, by using chips to track cards, you should make damn sure it is as undetectable as possible. That means rarely if ever adding chips to a stack. If you need the chip crutch to do it or help with confidence of keeping it in your head for a while that is fine. But you should develop the skill to no longer need to cheat to keep a side count.

    From the nevoid law that all other jurisdictions tend to base their laws on.

    NRS?465.075??Use or possession of device, software or hardware to obtain advantage at playing game prohibited.??It is unlawful for any person to use, possess with the intent to use or assist another person in using or possessing with the intent to use any computerized, electronic, electrical or mechanical device, or any software or hardware, or any combination thereof, which is designed, constructed, altered or programmed to obtain an advantage at playing any game in a licensed gaming establishment or any game that is offered by a licensee or affiliate, including, without limitation, a device that:
    1.??Projects the outcome of the game;
    2.??Keeps track of cards played or cards prepared for play in the game;
    3.??Analyzes the probability of the occurrence of an event relating to the game; or
    4.??Analyzes the strategy for playing or betting to be used in the game,
    Ê except as may be made available as part of an approved game or otherwise permitted by the Commission.
    (Added to NRS by 1985, 970; A 2011, 216; 2013, 1317)

    By staking chips you have turned the chips into an abacus, which is a mechanical form of a basic computer. You are clearly using chips to track cards, which as per subsection #2 makes them a cheating device. You may notice the term without limitation in the complicated sentence leading into the list of requirements that can make anything a cheating device. I take the "without limitation" to mean anything that is used to do any of what follows.

    More reasons to utilize the regaled FBM ASC.

    I have to disagree. The statute clearly states “device”. A chip is not a device - nor can it be construed as a device. For obvious purposes, it is a form of (monetary) measurement.

    However, if one is unsure, then utilization of the FBM ASC might be a prudent alternative. Further, additional beta testing indicates that the FBM ASC is an excellent indicator of critter heat. The BS meter (Ball Sweat) is ideal for this purpose.
