I play a double deck game with 60% penetration, the best rules, except for hit soft 17 and no surrender, but they allowed double after split, 25 minimum and 500 maximum, I have only been playing for about 25 hours this month, and I am already hitting a $16,000 downswing. I max bet $250 at +4. So this is a 68 max bet downswing. I checked CVVX and the chance of me losing that in those hours is 0.37%. I use knockout with full indexes. I have tested my play using casino varite and i am 100% perfect play. Now I find it really hard to believe that i am hitting a 0.37% variance. As I have only been playing for about 1 year, it seems that every time the count is low, I bet minimum bet and they let me win, but every time the count increases, I get a stiff hand and always bust. And the dealer is always making 20s. the only thing that is actually normal is the insurance, because every time I buy insurance on a high count I usually hit it, besides that I lose almost all of my big bets. It seems that even on a high count if a dealer has a bust card, they will still pull small cards.. and if the dealer has a face card, they will just pull one big card. I am thinking that there is a mode on the automatic shuffling machine that is meant for card counters only... because if I were to just slap bet I would actually be winning more often, but they somehow group together certain cards to unfavor the card counter..
