Vegas has been good but expenses still too high.

My 5 las Vegas trips had these results.

    1st trip-----Won $1290 in 17 hours----expenses $400

    2nd trip----Won $700 in 10 hours----expenses $300

3rd trip--- Lost $2200 in 4 hours-----expenses $300-----drove off to San Diego with family.

    4th trip-----Won $1880-----in 15 hours---expenses $600

    5th trip-----Won $4260-----in 15 hours----expenses $700

With 2 more trips to go before end of year. Its been about 75% DD games and 20% 6 deck games and the rest (5%) maybe SD or 8 deck. Trips have been 3-4 days long. Expenses are generally car rental, gas, food and hotel (usually 1-2 day, the other day or two is comped). The problem is that sometimes rental cars have been as cheap as $10 pr day plus taxes, other times its been $40 a day plus taxes. On my last trip, because of events in town, hotel costs have been high as well.

Your average hrs played per trip is 12. Probably a little low to justify the overheads involved with travelling. If you are cutting hours short due to results in either direction then that is likely the reason.

Give or take 3630 after expenses on 61 hours. I’ve told you before, increase your spread. Make fewer mistakes. Wouldnt hurt you to read more. Oh, increase your hours per trip, though make sure you rest when needed. Don’t play fatigued.

    Thanks for sharing Zee.

May I ask why you prefer DD games?

Those are some expensive trips for the hours played during them. :-/

They are easier to win at. Fewer the decks, better the game.

True, but I have fun, give my family a break and as long as I am not losing, it's okay. As 21forme reminds everyone, I am just a part time recreational player.

The hours are few, but they only list hours playing. I often played rated and thus short sessions all over Las Vegas. My next trip is coming up and I will play longer sessions, risk back offs and spread more.

I do my best to ignore Zee's posts, but this obsessed stalker brings me up in one of his.

So it seems liked it is about 4 hours of counting bj a day which if factored in travelling is easily a 6 to 7 hours a day . To do 8 hours of play would probably be a 12 hour day . it is for me anyway , not that fun after a while .

The amazing thing is that you are even ahead, given that you are oblivious to the rules at the tables.

Give me your terms to quit this forum, and I'll see if it's doable.
