Starting my own Professional AP life documentary

I am young, under 30, and have been a professional gambler ever since i was 18. Ive always wanted to video document my lifestyle and what it's like on the daily grind. I just watched "Inside the Edge" and it gave me the motivation to actually want to commit to start video recording things and putting them all together in the years to come.

What advice would you all give as to what would be some good aspects to include? Any and all advice is much appreciated. I would not post the video until i was out of the game, so it could be a long time from now. Interested in seeing how games evolve over the next 20 years.

This is a pretty big commitment. If you can stick with it until then, would be pretty impressive. Maybe you could include on how you started and what got you into the "AP life."

If you came from humble beginnings this will help the likable aspect of the documentary. People like the underdog aspect. Probably not a necessity, but it will help with verses a story of someone who grew up
in Beverly Hills living in there parents 3 million dollar house spending there time playing blackjack.

For future reference, "versus" and "their."

OK, above is the edited version.

Lovely! Now, that wasn't that hard, was it? If only 50 other people on this site would make the effort to do likewise, we might actually be able to enjoy a forum whose members are capable of writing in their native tongue.

OK now, I wasn't that bad. I do know better. I just type faster than I think sometimes. Plus, my post was at like 7 am, before the coffee finished brewing.

My only advice would be technical as I spent 40 years in the broadcast TV business.

    1. Keep your camera largely steady. Hosepiping as it's called generally distances the audience unless it's done for effect.
    2. Research your camera/audio setup, particularly the audio which lets down many amateur videos.
    3. If you want to release it to a wider audience later, try to shoot in 4k.
    4. Ideally get someone with experience to edit it and use the best kit. Avid and Resolve are the two best imo and both have free versions.
    5. Consider buying Google Glass as the video is great (though only 2k) and will allow you to shoot many appropriate sequences hands free and surreptitiously
    6. Watch the Dan Negraneu's 2019 WSOP Vlog. Ep1 here: https://youtu.be/pIi_DNaChSw as it's a great attempt at what you could do.

Best of luck. It's a great idea and if you need any technical help just shoot me a PM.

For me it's actually not my native tongue, but I try my best to at least erase my smartphone typos...
