Pretend to be superstitious as cover

I wonder if I can pull off some heat or provide covers If I pretend to be an extremely superstitious gambler. Im a Chinese with an old expired chinese passport and I can speak perfect funny chinese accent English. I pull off 1-30 spread in AC shoe game for few hours, they dont seem to bother. Perhaps I was lucky that perticular pit boss isnt caring much.

I wear bunch jades, yelling "monkey" before the dealer flip the holecard. Mentioning FENGSHUI when I lost or win. Put a lucky cat or budda on the table or next to my seat,. I dont want to OD tho to attract too much attention, what do you guys think?

“MONKEY “ is fine. Don’t know what fengshui is. Flip a coin on a tough decision. Lie to the critter as to the meaning of heads or tails, as you will want to change the meaning for different hands.
If you play 2 hands, play varying amounts depending on win or loss. That will affect variance however.

On 2D games with an ASM I will sit out hands in a negative count, saying "The blue deck is unlucky for me", then resume betting when the red deck is dealt.

Try not to use a traditional bet ramp. Just go from min bet to max bet whenever u have any advantage. It will lend credence to your mysterious aura and buy you precious playing time on the green felt...

"Brother, can you spare me a dime" was a great blues song I used to listen to, way back when. Duanne Allman on guitar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTFvAvsHC_Y

By all means any cover you can do cover without actually costing EV or volatility it’s a good move unless the act is awful, no debate here. I am not saying betting cover is always terrible just that one’s more personal preference and depends what your goals are.

Being Asian and speaking Chinglish is good cover in itself, at least for a while. In this case large, irrational bet spreads are normal and may explain why you were allowed to continue to play. Unfortunately, the jades won't mean much, however, yelling "Monkey" or "Pitcha" just before a potential natural is normal. The meaning of Fengshui(pronouced "Fung Schway") will be lost on most US pit bosses as they will not understand it and most younger Chinese players do not follow it anyway, so leave that out. The lucky cat with the swinging arm indicates superstition and that you are hoping to attract money, so that's a good idea. If you play with a friend then have a "conference" before betting on the next hand but don't slow down the game too much otherwise the other players may get annoyed. Regular gamblers can be very emotional when they win or lose so act accordingly.

Wearing jade is a good idea. I was considering wearing a jade or a tacky watch, then I chose watch cause I figured jade doesn't fit my appearance.
I think FengShui is more of an architectural thing, so I feel hard to relate it to gambling.
Put a lucky cat on the table is too much attention. You're wonging and are not going to sit long.
I'm mandarin speaking Chinese. I can't speak Chinglish, so I'd speak minimally, and pretend not to understand English well.
Yelling "monkey" should be good for some. For me, it attracts unnecessary attention. It doesn't fit my quiet style of play.

Besides pretending to be superstitious, it's very important to pretend to be RICH. Wear no brand or luxury brand clothing, never wear cheap brand clothing.
