Thread: CBJN alternative?

    CBJN alternative?

CBJN lists all casinos in every state. Are there any alternative sources where one can learn information just about any one state or city? Surely, there might be something just for Las Vegas? Someone used to post about Las Vegas on the BJ21 site but I am banned there. Where else can I go for information similar to whats on CBJN?

You should still be able to irder CBJN. The information used to be, and probably has a link from the free portion of the site.

I have a CBJN fro November 2016, April 2017 and December 2018. As far as Las Vegas goes, there are hardly any changes that really matter so not wanting to order another one. I play 2 of 3 M life properties, the station properties and a couple downtown. I was hoping there was a listing. Casino 411 is only available to members of BJ Apprenticeship and its expensive so I cant get that one. If anyone has recommendations for Las Vegas, they could PM me. I go there over Labor day weekend.

CBJN is far less useful now that it has stopped reporting what side bets available. When you travel you are prepared for whatever BJ conditions you find, but you might need to do some research to maximize playing the side bets. If CBJN doesn't tell you what those side bets are it is pretty useless.

How can you not know how? It is the same principles used for beating BJ. Too much EV there to ignore.

Really T3? Where I play, its mostly the poker bet. Could I use the HiLO count and bet sidebets as well? Which side bets and where can I learn when to bet on those side bets?

I'm a CBJN reporter. Sidebets were never fully reported. For some reason I never understood, they only wanted those that were already listed and not any new or different ones. Also, don't forget 6:5 games aren't reported any longer.

Brain power required, but not available. Also, this thread was started because the originating troll wants something for free that people put time, work and effort into producing.

Zee, you really don't offer anything do you. Everyone else looks at the side bets and decides which ones are vulnerable because they understand what being an AP is. Then they research how to beat the side bets they see as vulnerable. Sometimes that means finding someone else research and using it. Other times it means doing the research themselves. Networking can be of great use here. Everyone else puts the effort in but you just want to be a parasite that offers nothing in exchange for useful info. You even attack those that try to help you rather than be grateful they are trying to help you. Would you want to network with someone like you? You just put your hand out and expect people to give you things and then you don't even use what is given you. It is very sad. I had always tried to help you when others wouldn't until one day you attacked me for my troubles. Maybe someone else will help you but I think we all know you all to well by now to expect that. I can't believe you have traveled all over the country and never thought any side bet was vulnerable to AP play. Sad, sad, sad.

Depends on the side bet. Some side bets, though not using a specialized count, can be beaten utilizing the main count. I play side bets at certain t8mes, not for big stakes, but enough to know that it makes a difference.

First, thanks for reassuring me that my obsessed fan will enter my thread. I was worried that he had gotten over me. Much thanks.

Second, I have repeated often that I am a recreational counter. Its not recreational when I have to work hard on it. I can understand that you and other AP's do it but I am not on the card counter plus forum.

Third, despite your experience and appreciation of DON S and Norm, you dont seem to have their self discipline. You, again, pathetically, try to make it about the poster. Unlike folks like Don S, Norm, Dr. Wong, and other greats, you still have a need to get your hostilities out. I was responding to Freightman but you felt the need to make it about me. If you do not wish to share your knowledge about sidebets, just move on to the next thread.

Its posts like yours, not addressing BJ play but making cheap attempts to humiliate others that convinces many of us about the sad effects of being a professional AP. Invariably, its the full time AP's that post crap like yours. Just get mature and move on if you dont wish to post about actual BJ. Why pretend you are here to "help" others when we all know that this is just a site where some of you get your hostilities out. In another country, maybe you would have a spouse or servant to beat up, here its the recreational counter.
