How Do You Decide Which Table Your Are Going to Play At

Well, for me it is a pretty easy choice because most of the time there is only a couple of tables open. However, in those rare situations where I have a lot of tables too choose from this is how I go about it. Assuming any 6:5 is ruled out immediately, I will pick a two deck game over a 6 deck game. Then the second thing I like to look for is an uncrowded table. I will sometimes play 6 deck instead of 2 deck if it is less crowded. Table min is not that important, but my ideal table min is $10. Usually $5 tables are to crowded. If $10 table is to crowded, I will pick a $25 min table instead. Since most dealers rotate I don't pay that much attention to pen before sitting down.

I suggest you correct your usage of "to, too, and two" unless your secretly malicious intention behind this seemingly innocent post is to give Don an aneurysm.

I play in the land of shoe games. The tables in a casino will all have the same rules and number of decks most of the time. I get to know the dealers and play the tables with the dealers I like based on speed, crowding, penetration, error frequency, and if they help maintain favorable conditions or try to make them unfavorable. These are really the only differences between tables other than which one is shuffling or will be first. If I can I like to open empty tables. Some players aren't bad to play with but most are dreadful table-mates.

Very simple in the UK. There are only about 4 casinos that are worth playing in and they generally only have one or two tables with OK games. So you're not exactly spoiled for choice....

I play DD heads up and 9-11 rule. Otherwise Spanish 21 with 6 decks.

IMO, should sim many different games & conditions then have a ballpark idea of which games are better than others Would you rather play a DD game with 2 other players or a 6D heads up? At which point does the 'other' choice become better due to better/worse penetration (or other factors)? Do you know which dealers are faster or slower? Obviously you can't have all this stuff in your head of 50 different game makeups due to the many combinations.

Heat makes me uncomfortable. So, since where I play it's either $25 min DD or 6 deck $10 min., I assess the situation a bit more. If the $10 minimum has too many players, I go for the $25 table. If there is only a couple of players and I can safely play 2x in positive decks, wong out for breaks in negative, I might go for the 6 deck.

All my brain power in this post was spent on deciding between "choose, chose, and choice."

i frequent the table w/ the most (player) cash on table...
    1. blends in w/ my obnoxious spread
    2. winning tables, generally continue to win...just sayin'
    3. MUCH more pleasant experience than sitting w/ a couple long faced plops w/ $50 in red in front of them

This is an unbelievable question from someone who has been playing for many years.

MWP, perhaps you should preface each of these regressive posts with, "I'm just a part-time recreational player and I was wondering..."

Sounds like I'm second on your trash list. Second only to Zee.

You may be a distant second. Perfect example of the need to take hostilities out. Always, it's about the poster and never the post. Ap's are supposed to be disciplined but they rarely are when they leave the casino. The need to humiliate is so pathetically obvious.

You have attacked all other AP's on the forum in the two threads I have opened this morning. I think it is obvious you are projecting about gambling addicts like yourself when you sling these types of insults and personal attacks. In the other thread you accused everyone of spousal abuse and animal cruelty. I don't know any AP that would do either of those, except I am guessing, you based on your comments projecting yourself on others. Of course you are not an AP but a gambling addict so that doesn't even count. Most people wouldn't even think of such horrific behavior. I guess what one does is easily thought of others.
