Bosox, I admire you and most of the pros who enjoy beating the casinos, that's fine. However, some full time pros can be real nasty (more so on BJ21 and a bit less here because Norm has been sending the message not to attack anyone personally), like they have a lot of pent-up anger in them. Most of these, I suspect, play big bucks and max bets and while that can earn them a lot more money, the times the variance goes the other way, they get on forums and get their hostilities out on anyone who expresses a different view.

Over the years, I have learnt my limits and how a bad day at BJ affects me. I ensure that BJ does not affect my life outside the casino by placing loss limits on my game and I adhere to them strictly. This sometimes means walking away from a positive shoe (it helps with logevity and act as well) or walking away after losing a set amount of max bets even with a high TC left. On my trips, I pre-determine what would make the trip worth it and when I reach that figure, I will do my best to return home with it. For instance, on a recent 4 day trip, I had decided that I would be okay with a $1k win, feel pretty good with anything over $1.5k. After 2 days, I was up $4k. I then went down to $1.5k and I quit about 7 hours before my flight back. I could have played a few more hours but TO ME, the risk to a nice return trip and family was not something I wanted to risk.
