    Nemesis

I have one spot that I have troubles winning. The games are good, comparable to everywhere else I play. I play the same here as I do anywhere else. However, I only win 28% of the time here. Everywhere else I win about 50% of the time (at one spot I'm at 75% and another 80% win rate). Looking at my records, 98% of my losses are at this one location (I know, the common sense thing would be to stop going here altogether).

Anyone else have a similar foe?

I know one guy who is a good AP. Whenever he went to this one area he would always lose for some reason. I believe he just doesn't go there anymore. I don't think it's so bad to stop going to a place if it's not working out.

I have an AP friend whose AC winnings far outstrip his PA winnings, despite the better games in PA.

I have places I win almost without fail and others that I rarely win. It isn't the playing conditions. I stopped going to the losing places.

There is a reason for these 'losing' places. They have a local witchdoctor perform voodoo ceremonies there every morning at 6AM...

Likely a coincidence -- but it COULD be something about that place, just something you haven't that about.

One place I was playing at a while ago, I was playing and for some reason I COULD NOT keep the count. I was struggling adding up the table totals. Then I realized -- it's the positioning of the card. Usually the dealer positions the top card to cover the north-western tip of the card, but at this place, the dealer was placing the top card on the north-eastern tip of the card.

Another place, I noticed something kind of similar. It wasn't the placement that was different, but the cards looked so much different! All the corner number things (A, 2, 3, 4, J, Q, K, etc.) were really really small. Of course, I could still see the cards and their ranks, but it was still somewhat of a struggle to identify the cards quickly and easily.

I'm not necessarily saying that this is what's happening to you -- BUT, there are little things that can really throw you off....things you might not be aware of!

I wonder if anyone else has experienced the two difficulties I mentioned above. ??

Yes indeed, casinos are as cunning as APs. And in many cases even cunninger.
