No hats allowed, but hookers apparently are

I just got back from Vegas and here's some things I encountered:

no hats allowed while at the blackjack tables at the Hard Rock, I wasn't the guy that was warned
a hooker openly propositioning me 20 feet inside the front door of Bally's
another hooker grabbing me by the arm as I walked past her on the strip near Bally's
got offered some chewing tobacco by a old guy at a blackjack table at a local casino

    only in Vegas, I hope.

Wow, that is a bizarre rule. Hopefully the HR will realize they might alienate a lot of young players.

The guy that they warned was wearing a cowboy hat.

It may be a common rule in clubs but this is the first I ever heard of it at the tables.

I hadn't heard that before either. I doubt it about gangs and colors. Hard Rock uses facial recognition so most likely they want a clean view of your face.

Last year, I had a different casino that also caters to that same young crowd, tell me that I couldn't wear my tinted glasses at the table. I protested telling him they were not sunglasses but my regular prescription glasses, to no avail. I later fired off a letter, mentioning that I thought they were in violation of the Americans with Disabilities act, and received a written apology with several hundred dollars in free bets coupons. Perhaps a a letter with mention of the Bald Headed Men of America organization (BHMA) will do the same trick.

I wonder if a Rabbi walked in, what would happen.

KJ - I know you like telling stories, but that once seems a bit too specific. Consider some editing...

Actually, that sounds like a really good idea. I would think that would be a good lawsuit if they forced someone to remove a religious covering. A yamaka probably wouldn't work since it doesn't obscure your face.

An AP I met at the bash (you know who you are) brought up disguises at one point and we discussed how well a female AP might be able to make use of a hijab. For men, a very comprehensive and cross-dressing disguise would be required to properly use this.
"Wait a minute. How do you beat someone to death with their own skull? That doesn't seem physically possible." "That's what Jimmy kept screaming: 'This doesn't seem physically possible!'"

An openly gay flirt would have the same effect. You just need to figure out what buttons to push to keep the pitboss away from you. I find hi fives and fist bumps keep them away without having to resort to wearing female clothing.
