The E.O.R. of the Ace in S17 vs. an H17 game moves from 1.2 to 1.1 BUT you
cannot demonstrate how that has any pragmatic value when you are 'bet-sizing'.

Card Counting is an interesting topic but I have always thought that there was a general problem
wherein some will obsessively "split hairs" ad nauseum.

I have had students 'confess' to having made an "error" wherein I have had to demonstrate to them
that they are foolishly castigating themselves about a mistaken play that had cost them a few pennies
on a $25 wager, from a $25,000 bankroll.

There was, long ago, the most wonderfully humorous thread that had to do with the Basic Strategist's
handling of Ace Deuce vs. 5 [OR was it Ace Five vs. Deuce?] in a single deck game.

As I recall it, it demonstrated how many significant digits one had to go to in order to decide that the
"correct" play vs. the "wrong" play was worth less than one can easily imagine.

It was a hilarious Griffin / Schlesinger dialogue. Oh, if only I could find that today.

Think you've had to much of that medical THC. Think I'll help out the dipshit DBS 6582 while I'm at it.

First card ace doesn't give you a 50% chance Of winning - it gives you a 50% (52-53%) EDGE.

First card ten does not give you a 10-20% chance of winning - 1t gives you a 10% EDGE.

Dipshit, understand the difference.
