    Indexes for my specific rules

Fairly new to counting, and where I play (Alberta, Canada) the rules are interesting.

H17, DOA, DAS, no hole card is drawn, ONLY LOSE ORIGINAL BET ON DEALER BJ, RSA, split up to 4 hands, early surrender (but not vs. Ace).

Here are the indexes that I have second nature to me thus far, and since it can be hard to find accurate indexes for my rules (I really have looked hard), I would like to make sure the ones I use are okay. They are floor indexes:

    Surrender:
    13 v 10...+3
    14 v 10...0
    17 v 10...+5
    7,7 v 10... 0

    Stand:
    16 v A... +3
    15 v A... +5
    16 v 10...0
    16 v 9....+4
    15 v 10...+4
    13 v 2... -1
    12 v 4...0
    12 v 3... +2
    12 v 2... +3

    Double:
    8 v 6...+2
    9 v 2... +1
    9 v 7... +3
    10 v A... +3
    10 v 10...+4
11 v A I always double because of only losing original bet vs dealer BJ but idk if this is correct
    A, 6 v 2... +1
    A, 8 v 5... +1
    A, 2 v 5... 0
    A, 4 v 4... 0
    A, 7 v 2... 0
    A, 8 v 4... +3

9 v 3 is a basic strategy double but for the most part these are fine or off by one.

    i would refrain from doubling 9 v 7 until +5 and surrender 77 v T at -1 or higher. stand 16 v 9 at +5. but it wouldnt make much difference

    you also need A9 v 5 & 6 plus the ten splits not to mention 13 v 3

11 v A is a basic strategy double and a hit in negative counts. Your thinking is not correct, an OBO hole card game (that is to say a game that is dealt without a hole card but where the dealer only takes the original bet in the event of a blackjack) is functionally identical to a game where the dealer takes a hole card.

    Sorry 9 v 3 was a typo, should've been double 9v2@+1

    So add
    10,10 v 6... +4
    10,10 v 5... +5
    13 v 3... -2
    A,9 v 6... +4
    A, 9 v 5... +5

And I changed the other suggestions in my notebook

Split TT v 5 and 6 at +7 because it is not really worth the additional variance until a higher true count. This also makes it a relatively rare play which helps you stay under the radar.

    Also :

Hit 16 v 9 instead of surrender in any negative count.

Thanks very much. I have changed my indexes to follow all your corrections.

10 v 10 I would not double at +4 this is a pretty risky play, I recommend either abstaining from this double entirely or at the very least waiting until say +7.

I was also wondering if you have an index for surrendering 15 v 9 with these rules?

Are you from Alberta? How do you know these indexes are correct.

G Man is referring to surrendering 15 v 9 at plus two or higher. You will also want to surrender 16 v 8 at plus four or above.

Many thanks. Those were the indexes I thought, I just wasn't sure if they were right for my game, as the surrender rules are funky with my rules, with surrendering 14 v 10 etc. as a basic strategy play, so I haven't been using them yet.
