The article stated that : . . . . . . picked six numbers, 1 through 49, you had a 1-in-54 chance to pick three out of the six numbers in a drawing . . .
My calculations show that the probability should = 6C3 * 43C3 / 49C6 = 0.017650403, which equivalent to 1 in 56.656, compare to 1 in 54 as what stated in the article.
Can anybody verify my calculations ?
